Kristin Thompson is Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management & Advisory Services. She provides trust and estate services in the Spokane region and is part of a larger team of private, commercial, and retail banking partners who provide comprehensive wealth management services.

Also an attorney, Kristin has extensive experience in elder and family law. As a trust officer she focuses on the administration of Special and Supplemental Needs Trusts. This diverse background enables her to counsel clients who require a sophisticated level of estate planning and asset protection to help them attain their goals on behalf of those they need to safeguard. Special needs administration is complex and requires expertise in what can be an ever-changing fiduciary role.

Kristin works in close coordination with clients’ existing legal and tax advisors to ensure that clients receive the best wealth and financial planning strategies for their unique circumstances and goals.
